Team Natural

Kriss of KrissDidit.com and moi

This weekend, I attended the KisforKinky and Beautiful Textures natural hair meetup in downtown L.A. Lots of beautiful ladies with big hair.
Yours truly opted to put for an updo because Saturday morning in L.A. was as humid as any day in Houston. Also, I wanted to experiment with the new headchain I made which is available in here: Aphrodite Headchain in MissRiot.com store. Still rocking that NYX "Orion" nude lipstick because it is the business.

Forever Heavy

Forever Heavy

So I built an entire outfit around headphones. Skulls in my ears? YES MA'AM! I've been obsessing over headphones for the past few days now. The purple WESC headphones I bought didn't fit my head...well mainly my hair. When you have big hair and tiny, toddler-like ears finding efficient headphones is a problem. Not to mention the fact that I don't have it in me to buy Beats headphones. Paying bills trumps buying Beats by Dre on any day. (That rhymes.)

I just want to be able to listen to Black Moth Super Rainbow songs throughout the day...

Aqua Dream Hunger Force

#Seapunk #RamonaFlowers Short film Steez.

I've wanted to dye my hair blue for the longest. Partially due to the fact that I grew up watching Tenchi Muyo as a kid and I thought Ryoko was hot shit. Tenchi should've gone for Ryoko!!! (Nerd moment) Don't act like you never watched the Toonami block on Cartoon Network after school or right after the Cartoon Cartoon Fridays block ended.

After Adult Swim, there was nothing left to do besides watch Cowboy Bebop or Dragonball Z. Hats off to Super Saiyan kid who now apparently has Victoria Secret ads on his channel after he went viral. Living the life.

So, these past few days, I've been compiling a list of the top 9 or 10 songs that shaped my life (musically) Somewhere on this list, I must feature White Town- "Your Woman." Maybe it was because I would hear it in the background when I would sneak and watch "Undressed" or any other show on MTV in the 90s.

They just don't make em' like this anymore.

Ima Read

NSFW- language.

You should be listening to Zebra Katz right about now. Forget whatever XXL told you to do. Who reads XXL anyway? Zebra Katz is on Diplo's Mad Decent label. Njena Reddd Foxxx is killing me softly with the Jeffrey Campbell platforms in the video. The drums are perfect and keep this song in my head for days on end. I admit I feel like a badass when it comes on my ipod.
